Revisiting his Choice

The idea for Regret was generated during a Storied Imaginarium workshop and is based on the fairy tale East of the Sun, West of the Moon. In some versions of the fairy tale, it’s an accident. In order to save his own life the father promised to hand over the first thing to greet him when he returned home. In older stories, the trade was more transactional. In exchange for a lifetime of wealth, the father delivered his daughter to the Beast.
